NO ‘ONE SIZE FITS ALL’ – bespoke composite windows
Every project is unique, every house is individual and every customer different, therefore we don’t supply ‘off the shelf’ windows. Each window and door is custom made to your individual requirements, but to the same exacting high quality design, construction and finish. We’ll work closely with you, your architect or project manager to ensure we find the right solution for your project and budget.
A WIDE RANGE OF CHOICE
Our bespoke windows and doors are available in three styles, so you can be sure to find the right one for your home.
CLASSIC: Our Classic Series is just that – classic Swedish composite windows, manufactured with uniquely designed aluminium profiles and high density slow grown knot free laminated timber source from sustainable forests. Supplied as standard with an insulated double or triple glazed sealed unit with a whole window U-value as low as 1.1 W/m2k for opening windows.
DESIGN: Our Design Series has been developed with contemporary projects in mind, with a focus on the demands of modern architecture and the need for light, space and energy efficiency. The deeper glass unit negates the need for a step between the frame and glass and creates a flush finish and clean lines. The deeper triple glazed unit not only looks good but provides greater efficiency with a U-value of 1.0 W/m2k for opening and 0.9 W/m2k for fixed windows.
ANTIK: Our Antik Series windows have a handmade feel, ideal for creating a traditional look without sacrificing quality and high performance. The window’s wooden interior has an Ovolo moulding to either or both the frame and sash to add character, with concealed weather seals and knot free timber to enhance the appearance. The Antik window can be further styled with Ovolo profiled glazing bars for further character. Available in double or triple glazing.

Customer safety and satisfaction is at the heart of our service. We offer full 10 year guarantees on our windows and fixings, with a spare parts and accessories ordering service for any additional requirements.
SECURITY: Westcoast Windows has approved products under the Secured by Design (SBD) initiative – a quality standard for burglar-proof products, developed by the Police Crime Prevention Initiatives. All principle Westcoast composite windows and doors have also been successfully tested to British Standard PAS 24:2016.
SAFETY: Our windows are fitted with laminated safety glass, which when broken sticks to the plastic film with no loose fragments to minimise injury. Our fully glazed doors and sliding doors are fitted with tempered glass, which can withstand considerably greater loads than ordinary glass – ideal for areas where the window might sustain high loads from heavy, not sharp objects, such as kicks or if a person might fall against the glass. We can also provide fire safety glass if required. With regards to fully opening windows, our TSG 180 fully reversible window is designed so that small children are unable to open the window more than about 10cm.
WEATHERTIGHTNESS: The Westcoast Windows range is performance tested for weathertightness, strength, operation and basic security and they are classified in accordance with British Standards.
THE ENVIRONMENTAL GLAZING SOLUTION
Westcoast Windows are committed to using only energy efficient sustainable materials that can be recycled or disposed of by environmentally friendly methods. Westcoast Windows use PEFC certified wood, which guarantees that it comes from renewable sources. View our Environment & Sustainability statement here: Westcoast Environmental.pdf
Westcoast Windows composite windows‘ aluminium exterior is finished in a powder-coated colour which is environmentally friendly and virtually pollution-free.
At our manufacturing facilities in Sweden residents and commercial businesses benefit from many years of investment into sustainable energy technology. The local heating system recovers excess energy from industrial activities which is recycled and complemented with local biomass production to heat the whole city. Westcoast Windows’ waste timber contributes to this renewable energy source. Power generation is principally from Trollhättan’s own hydro-electricity plant, supplemented by local wind farm and solar energy sources with occasional nuclear support at times of exceptional demand.
