Westcoast Windows supplies Swedish timber aluminium composite windows for exclusive development of contemporary apartments on Kings Road, Reading
Westcoast Windows were pleased to supply 510m2 of timber aluminium composite windows for the conversion of the former Aspen House, a 31,000 sq ft office building on Kings Road, Reading, into contemporary apartments.
Rebranded as 300 Kings Road, the exclusive development comprises 78 contemporary studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments within the centre of Reading. The prestigious development benefits from a landscaped Sky Garden, private gym, parking and the convenience of a concierge.
The apartments have been designed with modern professional living in mind, with flexible layouts, fully-fitted contemporary kitchens with integrated appliances, and quality fixtures and fittings, such as heated towel rails.
Westcoast Windows worked with developers Brymor Construction and architects Kenn Scadden Associates to specify 510m2 of our popular double-glazed Classic Series composite windows, including the TSG180 fully reversible window, ideal for cleaning and maintenance in high rise buildings, and the FKG fixed light window. We also supplied the aluminium main entrance doors and roof terrace doors.
Westcoast Windows Classic Series timber aluminium composite windows feature a unique bonded construction with a low maintenance aluminium exterior, powder-coated in a colour of your choice, combined with a warm wood interior, with a frame depth of only 100mm. The versatile Classic Series is available in inward and outward opening windows and doors, and sliding doors, in 28mm double and 36mm triple glazing. The high performance windows achieve a whole window U value as low as 1.1 W/m2k.
