Westcoast Windows high performance composite windows and doors – Focus on Quality Assurance and Certification
Since 1995 Westcoast Windows have been designing and manufacturing bespoke composite windows and doors with the same skill and attention to detail, designed to our customers’ exacting specifications.
Our philosophy is to build windows of the highest quality, with carefully selected materials to our unique and innovative design. All of our products are hand-assembled ensuring consistency in quality throughout the whole production process.
To further endorse our high standards we are accredited by some of the most highly respected and recognised certification organisations in the construction industry:
The aim of ISO 9001 certification is to prove that an organisation meets its own internal standards for quality and that these in turn meet international standards. It is based on eight quality management principles which provide a structured yet flexible framework for ensuring our processes consistently meet the needs of our customers. Westcoast Windows have held ISO 9001 certification since 2011.

Westcoast Windows is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our business and have held ISO 14001 certification since 2011.

SECURED BY DESIGN
Secured by Design is an initiative of the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and combines the principles of ‘designing out crime’ with physical security. The standards are developed to create secure windows that reduce the risk of intrusion by 75% and the principles of the scheme have been proven to reduce the risk of crime. Westcoast Windows have been Secured by Design license holders since 2014. Windows and doors are also tested and certified to the very latest PAS 24:2016 certification for Enhanced Security Performance (see below).
BM TRADA Q-MARK ENHANCED SECURITY WINDOW & DOOR CERTIFICATION
A fundamental performance characteristic of a window is its ability to resist forced entry. Poor or inconsistent quality in the manufacture of a window can result in its performance being seriously compromised. The Exova BM TRADA Q-Mark enhanced security window certification scheme supports the testing requirements for Secured by Design (see above). Westcoast Windows have achieved window and door product certification for enhanced security. View our Certificates of Registration:

BM TRADA WINDOW & DOOR PRODUCT CERTIFICATION
BM TRADA Q-Mark is regarded as one of the most rigorous certification processes available for construction products. It is recognised by controlling authorities, home warranty providers such as the NHBC (National House Building Council) and is used by world-class construction companies and manufacturers. Westcoast Windows have achieved window and door product certification for general performance. View our Certification of Registration: Westcoast Windows Q-Mark-GPW-Certificate-2020.pdf
BM TRADA CHAIN OF CUSTODY PEFC CERTIFICATION
Chain of custody certification of timber or timber-derived products gives independently verified assurance that the wood used originates from responsibly managed forests. It shows the material is tracked through every stage of the process from forest to end-user. View our Certificate: Westcoast-Windows-AB-PEFC-2017-01.pdf
All Westcoast Windows products and doors are P-mark certified, which means they are independently type-tested and in-house procedures are externally monitored. This means high production and quality control in the final product. Westcoast Windows were among the first in Sweden to be tested and approved according to SP’s new P-marking requirements.
The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS)is a trusted advisor and authority on health and safety compliance. Westcoast Windows has been assessed and approved by CHAS for meeting health and safety guidelines.
