Westcoast Windows round up of 2020
While it has been an unusual and unprecedented year with the pandemic, and a difficult time for many, we do have some success stories to share from Westcoast Windows UK and our Swedish colleagues in manufacturing.
While there was initially some disruption to projects on the first UK lockdown, with the safety and health of everyone at the forefront of our minds, we were incredibly proud of our team and colleagues with their continued efforts in the production, delivery and installation of our composite window solutions, albeit in a safe and responsible manner, in order to fulfil our orders and customer expectations.
Our success in keeping the business running and productive, whilst keeping everyone safe, has been down to the careful management of the health and safety of our team and colleagues in our UK office, our UK fitting team and our Swedish factory.
In other news this year:
In January we reviewed the most energy efficient windows, comparing composite windows against their competitors in timber, uPVC, metal and aluminium: Which are the most energy efficient windows/
With the environment in mind, we also looked at how composite windows can help in green construction – such as reducing the carbon footprint of a building and it’s impact on the environment: How sustainable composite windows can help in green construction/
Early this year, we showcased a project from one of our Distributor Partners, Avista Window Systems, who installed Westcoast Windows in a lovely contemporary new build in Newport: Avista Window Systems – contemporary new build in Newport/
We were also pleased to share an exciting project from Australia, which after several years the Westcoast windows are really standing the test of time and living up to their energy efficient credentials: Australian sustainable family home proves Westcoast Windows stand the test of time
In commercial projects…

This year we also revealed our new brochure, showcasing some of the great projects featuring our windows, doors and sliding doors: WESTCOAST WINDOWS BROCHURE
We do have some exciting projects coming up that we will announce in early 2021.
In the meantime we would thank of all our team, colleagues, partners, suppliers and their families for their support this year, and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.
Best wishes from Andrew Mills, Managing Director and everyone at Westcoast Windows.
