Westcoast Windows supplies Swedish composite windows and doors for Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in West London

Working with Northern Irish contractor Farrans, Westcoast Windows have supplied their Swedish designed and manufactured unique bonded aluminium and timber, acoustic composite windows for this development of a new SEN school in Hounslow.

The new £29.3M Marjory Kinnon primary and secondary school, designed by specialist consultants Pick Everard, has been built in Feltham, close to Heathrow Airport. The project, which completed in early 2018, sees the creation of a two-storey school with over 9,500m2 teaching space to cater for 288 pupils, and features an array of therapy and physical activity spaces in a safe, flexible learning environment.

Westcoast have supplied 470m2 of windows for the project. Due to the location of the school close to the Heathrow flight path, the Westcoast Windows triple-glazed Design Series composite windows where specified for their high acoustic qualities of 48dB and efficient solar control.
