SWEDISH COMPOSITE WINDOWS FOR LUXURY WATERFRONT APARTMENTS ON THE RIVER DEBEN
Westcoast were pleased to supply and fit their composite windows and doors for the prestigious development of Whisstocks Boatyard at Deben Wharf, Woodbridge, Suffolk.
The once derelict site of the old boatyard has been transformed into an exceptional mixed use development, designed for the modern age with well specified homes and commercial spaces within the contemporary waterfront.
The development consists of fifteen high quality apartments overlooking the harbour, along with a purpose-built riverside bar and restaurant in The Chandlery building. The properties have been designed to reflect the area’s historic architecture and maritime heritage and the distinctive homes feature spacious, well planned accommodation with a high specification, providing 21st century comforts.
Westcoast provided a design, manufacture, supply and installation service of their composite windows and doors for this development.
The project was specified with our Classic Series double-glazed composite windows and doors with the low maintenance aluminium exterior powder-coated in the stylish slate grey RAL 7012 finish.
The warm wood interior was finished in clear lacquer to retain the natural characteristics of the timber.
The elevation overlooking the heritage boat shed that will house the Sutton Hoo Anglo Saxon ship was fitted with Design Series triple-glazed composite windows with the highest acoustic rating for additional sound-proofing.
