FRESSINGFIELD BAPTIST CHAPEL WAS INSTALLED WITH WESTCOAST SWEDISH COMPOSITE WINDOWS
A new modern Baptist chapel in Fressingfield, North Suffolk was installed with Westcoast aluminium timber composite windows.
The previous chapel originally built in 1835 was considered inadequate to accommodate the church’s growing congregation and the multitude of other community uses associated with the church, such as the youth group and toddlers’ group.
The new chapel sited near the primary school was designed by Archangel Architects. Based in Cambridge they work with both new buildings and sensitive adaptions of existing ones, across a range of sectors including Church, Community and Residential.
The new chapel was designed to accommodate the larger congregation, along with many usable spaces for large and smaller community activities, including a sports hall, kitchens and offices, along with a large car park.
Westcoast supplied 128m2 of double-glazed Classic Series composite windows and doors in FKG fixed light, SSG90 side hung, TSG180 top hung fully reversible and FDGD open out terrace doors styles, with the aluminium exterior finished in RAL 7024 Graphite Grey and the warm wood pine interior in clear lacquer. Westcoast also supplied the large fully aluminium entrance doors (through a third party).
